Tourist guide Proserpine

Prosperine is a city built up by the beliefs of an ancient civilization and is said to have evolved due to the constant efforts of both the genders who have worked all their life for generations to make this land fertile. The city is named after the great Greek goddess of prosperity ‘Proserpina’, and is also called as the sugarcane wonder of the world. This industrial center is situated on the river Prosperine about 15 kilometers upriver and is close to the Bruce Highway. It is around 120 km north from the city of Mackay. It is also close to Townsville.  The land of this city is so fertile that there is a demand for settlements in this area. The population here is around 4570 as noted in a recent research.
