Tourist Guide Warwick
Warwick can be described as a town located in Queensland, Australia.
Warwick lies at the distance of 130 Km on the south-western side of Brisbane. It’s administrative center pertaining to ‘Southern Downs Local Government Area’.
Condamine River goes on to feature Sculpture of Tiddalik, i.e. a mythical frog which drank fresh water; as per a reputable Aboriginal Dreamtime Story.
Originally, Patrick Leslie; along with two siblings of his, settled in this area in the form of squatters, thereby having named ‘run canning Towns’ on their part.
On 29th of November, 1917, an event, that was officially called ‘Warwick Incident’, occurred; that led to formation of ‘Australian Commonwealth Police’.
Warwick has been twinned with ‘Warwick, England’, and ‘Camrose, Canada’.
In the year 1871, railway happened to reach Warwick. In the year 1873, a brewery got built. The next year witnessed co-operative brickworks and flour mill.
