Tourist Guide Whitsunday Island
Whitsunday islands are a collective group of continent like structures surrounded by water on all the sides. They contribute to a major part of Queensland and are situated between the famous towns of MacKay and Townsville. The total count of islands that come under this name goes up to a whooping seventy four. It also forms a part of the Great Barrier Reef which does not require any introduction. The list goes on and on varying from bird, black islands to the long islands all of which form a major portion of Whitsunday islands. Due to the nearness to the seas or oceans it enjoys a typical humid type of climate with cool evenings and shivering colds during the winters. The population here is notable as many water related industries have flourished in this region.
