The national railway museum was founded in 1963. The museum currently has their large collection in two pavilions and historical goods at the site of the original Port Dock railway station. The museum has a large number of historic buildings, out of which some are original and the others just for display. Amongst the more historic of these are Goods Shed Woodville, Signal Cabin Callington Station, and Eudunda Gang Shed.
