Granite Island is a major location for the visitors and is connected with the mainland by a short pedestrian causeway. Penguins could be watched in the day time when they come to shelter on the Island. Cockle Train, operated by Steam ranger is runs connecting the Victor Harbor and the Goolwa station. The South Australian Whale Centre provides whale spotting from the months of June to September.
Certain interactive activities and presentations and information regarding the whale watching tips will be given by them. This place attracts many fish hunters. Greenhill’s Adventure Park is a tourist spot. They provide canoes, archery, waterslides, rock wall climbing, and go-karting and mini golf. Victor Harbor acts as the major centre of the surf zone. Parsons, Middleton, Goolwa, and Waitpinga are the major surf beaches here. At Murray Mouth, the Victor Harbor offers surf fishing.
