Tourist Guide Bicheno
Bicheno is a city located on the east cost regions of Tasmania in Australia. It lies at a distance of around 185 kilometers north east to Hobart on the Tasman High way. Basically the town is a beach resort and a fishing port. As per the 2006 census, the population of the city is estimated to be at 640. The city is situated at a distance of 37 kilometers form Cole’s bay and 43 kilometers form Swansea. St Mary’s lies at a distance of 44 kilometers and Campbell Town at a distance of 106 kilometers are the famous places nearby.
The temperature of the city varies from 23.7o to 12.8o Celsius. Bicheno is a beautiful seaside town well known for its excellent fishing grounds. Beaches are attractive, safe and the exciting coastal walks comprise of spectacular blowholes and the finest rockery outcrops. Even though the city has become a famous tourist spot in Tasmania, fishing still continues to be main means of livelihood for the residents.
