The Hobart International Airport is the primary means of transport for the passenger and freight transport in this city. It is located near the suburb of Cambridge and is based on the banks of the Dervent River. As it is built on a narrow edge of the water, the take-offs are scheduled on some part of the waters itself but is completely safe. The airport serves more than 20,000 flights per year which is a good sign.
