Battery Point is an old port and maritime village located at a short walk from Salamanca Place and the waterfront via Kelly’s Steps. The name comes after a Battery of guns was established on the point in 1818.
This point consists of pretty buildings including the Arthur Circus Cottages and St. George’s Anglican Church. Other interesting things include Van Diemen’s Land Folk Museum and a lovely Georgian Building amongst beautiful grounds.
