From among Hobart’s attractions, Sullivan’s Cove is an important historical site as its marks the place of the initial settlement. The region around Mt Wellington is known for its biodiversity and is a haven for nature lovers.
Also, there are a number of vineyards surrounding Hobart, the most renowned ones being Moorilla Estate and Cascade Brewery, the oldest brewery in Australia. The Moorilla Museum of Antiques also draws a lot of tourists every year.
Built across River Derwent is the Tasman Bridge, which one of Hobart’s popular landmarks. Another place of interest is the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens with a wide collection of historical and the most unusual trees. It also has built heritages and is a popular spot.
Hobart is host to the famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race which is a part of the Hobart Summer Festival. It is basically is a food and wine festival that begins soon after Christmas and extends till mid-January.
