The town is situated about 80 km in the south east of the Tasmania’s capital which Hobart on the Tasman Peninsula. The tourists can enjoy the panoramic drive from the Hobart city through the Tasman highway to Sorell and the Arthur highway to reach Port Arthur. The drive is for about 90 minutes and around 80 km. the town is well connected with ferry or seaplane.
