Woodbridge is a town situated in the southern part of Tasmania in Australia. The city lies at a distance of 38 kilometres southwards to the state capital Hobart. As per the census of 2006, the population of the city was estimated at 271. The city is also near to Kingston and Kettering. Kingston lies at a distance of 25 kilometres and Kettering at a distance of 4 kilometres. Woodbridge lies across the Peppermint Bay and D’Entrecasteaux Channel to the end of the northern side of Bruny Island. Small farmers and craft makers have surrounded the city to live in this semi rural area with undulating hills. Woodbridge has a mild temperature. Temperature can vary between 400 Celsius to -2.00. The city receives an average sunlight of 6 to 7 hours per day. Snowfall can be rarely found in the city during the winter season. At present the city is famous for its production of apple, stone fruit and for the Atlantic salmon farms.
