St Patrick's Cathedral is an impressive bluestone building and was built between 1857 to 1863. The design of this Cathedral is of English architect Charles Hansom and its construction got completed in 1870. This Cathedral has an aisle nave with clerestory, spacious chancel, large transepts and flanking side chapels. There are also masonry altars along with some outstanding stained glass works by Clayton and Bell.
