French Island lies in ‘Western Port, Victoria, Australia; at the distance of 61 Km on the southeastern side of Melbourne.
In the year 1997, around 70%25 of this island got declared as ‘French Island National Park’. Moreover, it’s listed in register of National Estate.
French Island, in comparison with the other places of Australia, is undeveloped and isolated. There aren’t mains electricity, mains water, or any sorts of medical services on this island. All that one can find is just a petite general store; along with post office situated on ‘Tankerton Road’ at the distance of around 3 Km with respect to Tankerton Jetty. Most of the locals happen to promote something called environmental tourism.
French Island contains certain notable landforms. They are inclusive of Mt. Wellington: 96 m; and The Pinnacles: 66 m
