Geelong can be described as the 2nd biggest city all over Victoria state, Australia. It’s also the biggest regional center within Victoria.

Geelong stands on Barwon River and Corio Bay; at a distance of 47 miles, i.e. 75 km on the south-western side of capital of Victoria, i.e. Melbourne. Moreover, it’s covered by ‘City of Greater Geelong’ municipality.

Urban area goes on to run between plains of ‘Lara’ in northern side to rolling hills relating to Waurn Ponds on the southern side, with hills on the western side and bay on the eastern side.

Climate of Geelong is temperate; that too, with 4 distinct seasons.

Geelong enjoys the pride for being home to Ford Australia, a car manufacturer and ‘Geelong Football Club’, which has attained the sobriquet of ‘The Cats’.
