The St.Ann’s Academy was built in three separate sections, between 1871 and 1913 and was closed in 1973. Though it is closed this it is also a major tourist spot. Abkhazi Garden created by Princess Nicholas Abkhazi is a heritage garden. The tearoom, garden, and gift shop is opened to the public. Hatley Park National Historic Site, Beacon Hill Park, Craigdarroch Castle, Royal British Columbia Museum, Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Goldstream Provincial Park are some other important tourist spots in Victoria.
