Victoria has an area of 237,629 sq km and a population of around 5 million. Its capital city is Melbourne.
Victoria is a state located in the south-eastern corner of Australia. It is the smallest mainland state and is bordered by the Murray River in the north and South Australia in the west. The state lies at the southern end of the Great Dividing Range and shares the country’s shortest border with Tasmania. Victoria has a diverse topography with river systems and alpine areas.
Victorians like living life at a comfortable pace, and the state is known for its entertainment, cuisine, arts, festivals and a passion for the great outdoors. Its capital Melbourne is said to be a true multicultural city as it is home to many international communities including the third-largest Greek community in the world. Migrants from Europe, Asia and the Middle East also form sizeable numbers of the population.

Too much late night alcohol consumption, to much racism towards anyone who is a bit different and the only thing it has that make people want to come here is shopping. BORING. Shepparton has a reputation Australia wide as being not somewhere that is...
Torquay is a township in Victoria, Australia, 95 km far from Melbourne. It’s the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, one of the most important and long est road in the world which also gives a great view on the ocean (as you can infer from its name). Just one word to describe Torquay: surf. Area is famous for its surf beaches (which are the best of that side of the Pacific Ocean), and especially for Bells Beach. It’s a legendary beach for surf because it’s the location of the oldest surf competition in the world. Surf is present everywhere in Torquay: in the town centre there are museums dedicated to the history of that sport and there also is a local Hall of Fame with names of its most famous surfers.
