Moe is famous for its gardens, parks and recreational activities. The attractive Botanic garden of the town, through which the Narracan Creek flows, lies to the east of the shopping ground. There are also rose gardens situated beside the railway line next to the roundabout at Anzac Street and Lloyd Street. The Joe Tabuteau Reserve, which lies to the west of the business centre, on Waterloo Road, has a Racing Club, in which the famous GPG Mobil Moe Cup is situated.
