The city of Morwell is situated in the Central region of Gippsland which is on the eastern side of the state of Victoria. The city is the administrative head of the City of Latrobe. The area of the city of Morwell is measured to be a little small but that does not prove to be a hindrance to the development of this town. The city is well known for its education as it has a number of schools and colleges. As per the census recorded in the year 2000, the population residing in this city is moderate as compared to the area i.e. around 13,766 people. As the city is located in the central region of USA the weather is hot in summers as well as winters. The lowest temperature that is recorded here is about 20 degrees. There is a small lake in the city which adds to the coolness of the environment. The government is leaving no stone unturned to update measures to improve the city by providing various facilities that will help to increase the population of this city. The population density is slightly below moderate in this city. However it is thought to increase in recent years.
