The Moondarra State Park is situated twenty kilometres away from the south-west part of Walhalla. In the Park, Koalas have been released; picnics and camping provisions are accessible at the Seninis Visitor Area. The Tyres Park is located 25 km away to the south of Walhalla. To the north of the Park is the Tyers Gorge, which is worth seeing. There is a walking track from the south-east of the Moondarra Reservoir.
