Wangaratta is known as Cathedral city and is located to the north east of Victoria in Australia.
Earlier in this pace gold was found in this area around 1850s and this can still be seen in the nearby area Eldorado. Previously the name of the city was Ovens and had a post office opened in the year 1 February 1843. Later on the named was changed to Wangaratta in the year 1854.
The city is rich in cultural heritage with festivals such as Wangaratta Festival of Jazz, glorious festival that is attended by thousands of people. Apart from this, the city also hosted Australian Football International Cup.
