When to visit
Known as a year round travel destination, Victoria has no extreme climatic conditions. This state has a temperate Mediterranean climate having hot summers and cold, wet winters. So, the best time visiting this state is the summer months between the months of November and March. Spring tends to be the most beautiful time too, when one can see various kinds of flowers blossoming like the Daffodils, cherries and rhodos. Known as one of the smaller states in Australia, day trips are the most popular method of seeing most of the attractions like the pristine beaches, the coastlines, the mighty Murray River and of course, the Formula One Racing and the Melbourne Cup Horse Race. For those who love snow field activities, winter is the precise time to have fun, on the first weekend of June. With four seasons, the state experiences winter from June to August and summer from December to February, with autumn being from March to May and spring from September to November.
