Wodonga can be described as a city located in Victoria, Australia, at the distance of 300 Km on the north-eastern side of Melbourne, Australia.
Wodonga has been covered by municipality Wodonga City Council.
Having founded in the form of a ‘customs post’ with Albury, its twin city on Murray River’s other side, Wodonga went on to grow subsequent to opening of very 1st bridge across Murray in the year 1860. ‘Wodonga’ was its original name. Later on, it was rechristened to Belvoir. Thereafter, it got its original name back. Post Office got opened on 1st of June, 1856; in spite of being called Belvoir till 26th of July, 1869.
Main secondary industries that have been based all over Wodonga are inclusive of ‘LOGIC’, i.e. one of the logistics distributions hub, Mars Corporation, i.e. a factory dealing with pet food, VISY, i.e. factory producing cardboard boxes, a foundry, and many more.
