Bunbury: Attractions and more...
In around 1880, Henry King went on to build ‘King Cottage’. Till the year 1923, it had been owned by family of his. Thereafter, Carlson family bought it. The year 1966 marked the purchase of King Cottage by ‘City of Bunbury’; along with its subsequent lease to ‘Burnbury Historical Society’. Cootage rooms have been well-furnished; so as to fit this period; i.e. the one between 1880s and 1920s. Artifacts that have been displayed are an intergral part of collection on the part of Society which reflects the way of living with regards to a family within Burnbury at that time.
