King Cottage Museum
In around 1880, Henry King went on to build ‘King Cottage’. Till the year 1923, it had been owned by family of his. Thereafter, Carlson family bought it. The year 1966 marked the purchase of King Cottage by ‘City of Bunbury’; along with its subsequent lease to ‘Burnbury Historical Society’. Cootage rooms have been well-furnished; so as to fit this period; i.e. the one between 1880s and 1920s. Artifacts that have been displayed are an intergral part of collection on the part of Society which reflects the way of living with regards to a family within Burnbury at that time.
Bunbury Regional Art Galleries
Housed within a distinguished pink ‘former convent’, ‘Bunbury Regional Art Galleries’ lie at the center of this city. They go on to have run extensive programs with regards to exhibitions by artists of international, national, and regional caliber; apart from artist-in-residence programs and art classes.
Timings
Bunbury Regional Art Galleries remain open every single day between 1000 and 1600 hrs.
