Wonnerup House had been constructed in the year 1859 by Layman family; who had been original settlers. Previously, it was constructed between 1837 and 1841; and destroyed in the year 1858 by fire.This complex is inclusive of a Kitchen and Dairy that predate main house. Teacher’s House and School are lying over this road. A lot of blood was shed at this place. Aborigines had not spared Layman family.
