East Perth is a town placed in the city of Perth, sited after that the Perth CBD. There are basically a large number of residential estates and industrial properties to be found here. The properties placed east of Lord Street, have been altered for making up to date housing units.
Since the early twentieth century, it has been principally an industrial region, it was the site for East Perth Power Station and the East Perth gas works, and not to be left behind the East Perth engine shack and also the East Perth railway work area is located here.
