Cape Le Grand National Park
It is a national park. It consists of a granite shoreline, with white sand beaches, which make it a pictorial feature of the park. The activities here are, hiking, fishing and off roading. The beaches included within the park are Thistle Cove, Lucky Bay, Le Grande Beach, Rossiter Bay and Hellfire Bay. The south-western region of the Park is subjugated by rock outcrops of gneiss and granite.
Esperance Historical Museum
The museum is dedicated in displaying of items, exhibits, which are projected on narrating the historical past of rural Upstate New York, the history of the Esperance area, and the history of the Esperance School. The building where the museum is housed has been the Esperance Village School, for more than 90 years. It is visitors timings are from 13:00 hours to 17:00 hours every Saturday and Sunday during the months of June, July, and August.
The George Landis Arboretum
This museum is placed in the outdoors. It is a living museum, which features of plants placed on a nineteenth century farm. Its other features include a collection of plants for scientific study, for enjoyment, decisive inspection and casual display. It is spread over a 548-acre site that spans Schoharie and Montgomery counties. A sample of collections includes: dwarf conifers, perennial gardens, clematis, azaleas, oaks, rhododendrons, beeches and lilacs. This rustic plot of trees and shrubs makes the visitors neglect the pictorial agricultural landscape of the Schoharie Valley. The admisson to the park is fro m dusk to dawn and is free of cost.
