The cities major income is from the tourism industry because there are many natural sight seeing and man made sceneries which attract a lot of tourists to the city from the entire Australian island. The city of Exmouth stretches over to an area of around 39.2 square miles in area. The population of the city is around 1800.The climate of the Exmouth city is not very harsh and is rather mild for the most part of the year. Fishing is done by some local people on the coast to some extend to earn their living. But due to less fish reserves near the coast, fishing could not be further developed.
