Tourist guide Kalgoorlie

Kalgoorlie-Boulder can be described as one of the cities located in Western Australia.
Kalgoolie-Boulder lies at the distance of 370 miles on the east-north-eastern side of Perth in ‘Eastern Goldfields’.

The year 1893 witnessed discovery of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. It was the time when ‘Yilgarn-Goldfields gold rush’ was in full-swing.  It lies much closer to so-called ‘Golden Mile’.

Kalgoorli-Boulder obtained the status of a city following amalgamation of ‘Town of Kalgoorlie’ and ‘Shire of Boulder’ in the year 1989.

Kalgoorlie-Boulder stands on main ‘East-West rail corridor’ across the Australian continent. Once upon a time, it was a ‘break-of-gauge’  between Eastern Goldfields Railway of Western Australian Government Railways (narrow gauge) and ‘Trans-Australian Railway’ towards ‘Eastern states of Australia’. Kalgoorlie lies on ‘Goldfields Highway’ and is connected to Perth through ‘Great Eastern Highway’.

Climate of Kalgoorlie is dry. Annual average rainfall comes out to be 260 millimeters.
