This museum, as the name suggests, goes on to display various artifacts pertaining to history of Mandurah. One need not go anywhere else to know about the past of Mandurah. Mandurah Community Museum houses works of local artists as well as those of international caliber. As such, one needs to be mentally prepared before visiting this museum as he/she would be obtaining knowledge in abundance. If this preparation is not done, he won’t enjoy at the museum. At Mandurah Community Museum, one would also find photographs of people who have contributed a great deal in making this city a fine place. Urban as well as social history is being depicted over here.
Timings
Mandurah Community Museum remains open from Tuesdays to Fridays between 1000 and 1600 hrs. On Saturdays and Sundays, it remains open from 1100 to 1500 hrs. Mondays are observed as holidays.
