Nadi is the third-largest city in the island nation of Fiji. It is situated on the western side of Viti Levu, which is the largest island in Fiji, and is the site of Nadi International Airport—the country’s gateway for international visitors.
Nadi is bounded by the Nadi River and Viseisei village to the west and the magnificent Sri Siva Subramaniya temple to the east.
Nadi is centrally located and is used as a travel hub by visitors to Fiji. It is well connected by road and sea to all the principal destinations in the area. As a result, tourism is second only to sugar production as a local industry. It is home to a multiracial mix of approximately 45,000 residents, who are primarily Fijian or Indian, as well as a large transient tourist population.
