Reviews Kula Eco Park
Kula Eco Park
The Kula Eco Park is a valley of coastal tropical forest about 1000 meters from the ocean, in the southern Coral Coast region of Viti Levu.
The park was nothing but a bird park, that failed terribly and the owner of the park fled from Fiji. In 1997 the restoration of the park was begun by the Kula Eco Park Management.
The park is today dedicated to preserving the various native flora and fauna of Fiji.
Imagine a fresh dense forest nestled in a valley. A stream flows between the trees before meeting the ocean. Trees bearing strange fruits, nuts and blossoms and the sun filtering through the dense forest, along with the many mysterious noises of nature forming an original melody gives you the feeling of being in heaven.
The main building houses a varied display of insects, moths and butterflies.
The wooden walkway further ahead from the reception building leads into the forest.
