A seat of Polynesian history and lore, Moorea is one of the most fascinating and enjoyable vacation destinations. Other than Tahiti, it is the only Polynesian island that boasts of both black and white sandy beaches.
Although, technically, all beaches in French Polynesia are public property, most of them are located on private property. The Temae Beach, the largest and most beautiful white sand beach, is ideal for swimming, snorkeling or basking in the sun. The only other public beach is one that lies in front of the Faimano village. This beach is located between Moorea’s two bays and is well-shaded.
The Shark and Ray Feeding Excursion is perfect for divers with a fondness for marine life. The 4 X 4 tours provide you with an opportunity to absorb all the sites and sounds of Polynesia.
When in Moorea you must visit the Afareaitu Valley Falls, Aquablue, Arahoho Blowholes, Belvedere Lookout, Belvedere or Roto Nui and Distillerie de Moorea.
