The Harbour Bridge in Auckland is an eight lane box truss motorway bridge which is known as the second longest road bridge in New Zealand. The bridge is the longest in the North Island.
With a length of 1,020 meter and rising at 43.27 meter above sea level, the bridge is known to be an Auckland icon. Its construction began in 1954, ending in 1959 and daily traffic of the bridge is almost 168,754.
Many can opt for climbing this bridge organized by AJ Hackett Bungy, where the timing of the climb is one and a half hours.
