The Skydive Abel Tasma placed in Motueka near Nelson provides to welcome all the skydivers from all around the world. Thanks to the weather, to comfortable facilities we have and amazing surroundings you can have a unique experience you can't loose if you come to New Zealand.
Even if you are a novice, intermediate or expert skydiver you can have the opportunity to come and try to jump. You can attend th Accelerated FreeFall programme (AFF), finish Alicense requirements, using our expert parachuting coaches (on site every day), partecipate to seminars and workshop or to tranining camp facilities we can offer to you.
Our company, Skydive Abel Tasman, also hosts the biggest annual skydive event - The Good Vibes Boogie - usually held in August (since 2002): don't loose it!
Tandem Skydiving
You can enjoy the tandem skydiving even if you are not a professional jumper and it's your first time!
The only you have to do is choose the altiutude you prefer, wear the jumpsuit, googles and hat we provide, receive a short exposition of what you and your skydive instructor are going to do and climb abourd our Fletcher turbine aircraft and start the most exciting experience ever!
Whilst you are flying you will enjoy breathtaking views of Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks, the Southern Alps (snow-capped in winter), golden beaches and blue oceans before exiting the aircraft in search of terminal velocity!
Experience the unequalled freedom of flight at 200 km/ph (120 mph) until your Tandem Instructor opens the parachute and brings you safely back to earth.

We operate 7 days a week (except Christmas Day). A slot in our Fletcher Turbine aircraft will cost you $ 35 (12000ft) and brand new hire gear is available on request.
