Tokoroa can be described as the 3rd biggest town located in Waikato area of New Zealand’s North Island. Moreover, it’s the biggest settlement all over South Waikato district.
Tokoroa lies at the distance of 30 Km on the southwestern side of Rotorua, adjoining foot of Mamaku Ranges. It’s mid-way between Hamilton and Taupo on SH1, i.e. State Highway One.
Several plantation forests and dairy farms surround Tokoroa. 4 major centers can be frequented from Tokoroa; that too, at an hour drive. They include Hamilton, Rotorua, Tauranga, and Taupo.
Tokoroa happens to host numerous music, cultural, and sporting events every year. Polynesian festival takes place just once in a year.
Rugby is played on the local level. Also, extensive cycleways are present; which connect town center with outlying subdivisions.
