Have great places to visit Jim Barnett Reserve The River Trails from Little Waipa through to Atiamuri Te Waihou Lake Moananui Okoroiri walkway and pub for lunch, Whakamaru Reserve (free camping in our Reserves) Heated swimming pool Cougar park mountain bike track Event Center sports fields Youth Park.Sure we could have more shops but we are central 1 hour to Rotorua Tauranga Hamilton Taupo. Two Hours to the mountains. Check out the view from Coulsons hill. We have many clubs and organizations for you. Great schools. So we can be cold in winter get a heat pump or get physical, after the frost comes the sun. We have cheap housing no traffic...
Hi my name is Ellen and I love south taranaki as i lived there for over 3 years but i find that some of the places to visit are hard to find especially as there are not a lot of sign posts for the musem that is just out of Harwera. The township it self is a very beautiful place to visit but needs more things for familys to do especially on holidays and even a little tour bus for people to catch to the beach of oponaki which tourist would love, thank you.
