Attractions and Places to visit Port moresby

Major tourist attractions in Port Moresby include the wonderful architectural design of the House of Parliament, the Moitaka Wildlife Sanctuary famous for its impressive crocodiles and the Bomana War Cemetery.
Situated within the vast campus of the University of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby, the National Capital Botanical Gardens, with its wide array of distinctive orchids, is one of the prime tourist attractions in the country.
The National Museum and Art Galley display an interesting collection of New Guinea art and cultural artefacts.
Idler's Beach and Ela Beach offer excellent bathing.
Other places to visit include the Louki Gorge, the majestic Rouna Falls and the unique Varirata National Park which offers fantastic views and a wealth of coloured birds and other particular wildlife.
