The Botanical Gardens, once the national prison, are now full of lovely perfumes and colours.
Other sites include the Red Beach on the Coastal Plain and the Henderson Tower.
About two hours walk from Honiara, the Matanikau Falls, one of South Pacific’s most impressive waterfalls, can be admired!
