Overall Guide : With its sprawling white beaches, Samal Island is flawless and pristine. The place is a major recreational attraction and offers a variety of water sports for the visitors to enjoy. The Pearl Farm Beach Resort is the most popular tourist spot... more in Davao. Visitors take a boat ride to reach the stunning resort which was once a pearl farm. Today, the resort is a major tourist retreat with traditional cottages. A popular spot for a day trip, especially for animal lovers, the Philippine Eagle National Centre is a shelter to the exotic Philippine eagles and other native animal species. The Davao Museum is a storehouse of historic artefacts related to events of the past years. Also, various photographs and other memorabilia are housed in this museum. The Eden Nature Park is a famous hill resort with a lush landscape decorated with beautiful pine trees. The climate here is cool and pleasant offering the visitors to relax and soak in the beauty of nature.

Overall Guide : If you need a place to retire Davao is the best!! Peaceful, clean and not a fast pace city.. IT's so safe to go out at night and a lot of taxis, jeepneys and even private motorcycles-turned-public rides roam around... more the city to take you whereever you wanna go at the right price.. Malls are sprouting everywhere to give you a feeling of not being left out but keeping you updated of what's in and what's trendy now.. if you need to retreat and stay somewhere quite.. it's just minutes away to do island hopping or go up in the mountain rent a place there to commune with nature..in Davao anything is possible!!

Overall Guide : I've been to Davao many times already, my last visit here was 2 years ago. After two years, i come to again and i was really amazed. New malls such as ayala abreeza, sm lanang, robinsons and even sm ecoland... more does have new existing building. Added to that, crocodile park now does have lots of activities ypu can watch like butterfly sanctuary, k mindanwan cultural show which i have so much fun as well as my daughter. The dancers are very great!

Overall Guide : I like davao. Except that it's hot and the transportation is lacking. Too much traffic too. The roads are still not good. Davao has lots of slums around especially in r castillo and the boulevard areas. Davao is getting polluted.... more The air is begining to smog and the dust pollution is high. Also the CENRO should improve the trash bins because they are no longer good looking and it pollutes the eyes of the people.
Not to be missed eden nature park , Malls , Samal Island

Overall Guide : A safe, "livable" city slowly becoming less so. It is wonderful in many ways, but the incursion of national (Manila) and international business is likely to gradually undermine its unique character. Yet this appears what Davaoinians want - each new... more mall ins supermarket which opens seems to reduce the number of customers in the established shopping centers like NCCC and Victoria Plaza

Its is fun in Davao, especially during Kadayawan Festivasl, where there are lots of festivities, like floral float, mutya ng Dabaw, dance competition, and other more.... more And if you want relaxation, there are lots of fine beaches and resort, especially those found at Samal, the Paradise Island, Blue Jazz, etc.
