Introduzione

Sintra is a town located in the district of Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. The town is considered as one of the wonders of Europe because of its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (owing to its spectacular nineteenth century architecture).
The train ride from Lisbon to Sintra is barely 45 minutes, with regular services plying daily. The suburban railway system of Sintra is the most crowded line in Europe.
The town experiences temperate weather for most of the year. Temperatures in winter are usually between 5°C–10°C, and summer temperatures range between 30°C and 40°C, on the hottest days. The distinct microclimate results in Sintra boasting of the most magnificent parks in the country.
About 21,000 people stay in this romantic town. Commerce and tourism are the mainstay of Sintra’s economy.

Overall Guide : You should definitely not miss Quinta da Regaleira and the park, the well at the beginning and the galleries that emerge under waterfalls and ponds, the Palacio Nacional de Pena, but the most amazing thing is Cabo da Roca and... more all the nature there...it's priceless and fascinating!

Overall Guide : The Castelo dos mouros looks like the poorer brother of the two most famous buildings, but it has a mysterious charm and a superb view, that will blow you away, 360° from the top of the ramparts on a windy... more day. Do not miss it!
