The main attractions within the city are the Santiago Betbeder Museum and National Archives, which chronicles the history of the region, and the Hector Aubert Complex, displaying the elements of life in the nineteenth century. The Provincial Park of Rio Quinto Resort is like an oasis in the city with wooded areas, a swimming pool and other sports activities.
Just outside the city is the Rio Quinto Dam where water sports and fishing facilities are available. It is also the venue for the national windsurfing competitions. Not much further away from the city is the Sierras del Morro. Its unique geographical formation has earned it the status of a national monument. It is an ideal spot for hiking, climbing and other outdoor activities.
