Officially Balvanera is the name of the parroquia (parish) located near the church of Nuestra Senora de Balvanera which was erected in 1831. It actually is a neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is located to the west side of downtown Buenos Aires.
The population density here is very high and most of the residents live in apartment buildings. Rivadavia and Corrientes are the main streets of Balvanera. As it is located near to downtown district, Balvanera has many options of transportations.
