Buenos Aires hardly ever sleeps. While some pubs open as early as 6 pm, serious clubbing doesn't start before 2 am, and frequently goes on until 6, 7 am if not later.
There are several cheap areas one can find; the streets around the Recoleta cemetery are a traditional entertainment area. Nowadays, it has lost some of its appeal and has become a bit more of a tourist zone but it's possible to find an array of cheap restaurants, bars and clubs: there should be something for any taste on a budget.
Jobs next to Arenales y Agüero is a big billiard venue with a little dancefloor included suspended between the two main floors. Arkos in the Avenida Sarmiento y Casares area on the weedends offers Salsa and Tango with a moders twist and it gets packed the deeper the night gets.
