The province of Córdoba is located in the centre of the continental territory of the Argentine Republic.
Córdoba is bounded by the provinces of Santiago del Estero and Catamarca to the north, by La Rioja and San Luis to the west, by La Pampa and Buenos Aires to the south, and by Santa Fé to the east.
The main access routes to the province are:
National Route 9: on the southeast, it connects Córdoba city to Capital Federal, province of Buenos Aires, part of the province of Santa Fé and the City of Rosario; while on the north, it connects Córdoba to the provinces of Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Salta and Jujuy.
National Route 19: to arrive from the cities of Santa Fé, Paraná and the province of Entre Ríos.
National Route 60: links Córdoba province with Catamarca's.
National Route 38: connects Córdoba to the province of La Rioja.
National Route 20: connects Córdoba to the provinces of San Juan and Mendoza.
National Route 36 connects Córdoba to the south of the country, La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, and Santa Cruz; and together with the National Route 8, it connects this province to the province of Mendoza.

From the city of Córdoba, it is possible to get "Camino de la Historia" (Road to the History) by the National Route 9 (road to Jesús María) and by the provincial roads E 53 (road to the airport) and E 54 (road to Villa Allende).
Towards Miramar, it is the National Route 19 until Río Primero, and there, it starts the National Route 10.
The road leading to the areas of Paravachasca and Calamuchita is by the Provincial Route 5, while the road to Punilla and Northeast are the National Routes 20 and 38.
Towards Traslasierra, it is the National Route 20.
Sierras del Sur from Córdoba can be accessed by the National Route 36; while from Buenos Aires and the south of Santa Fé, it is by the National Routes 7 and 8, which also lead to Traslasierra without crossing the mountains.
