Correntes is the capital of the homonymous province and is located in the Corrientes region of the north-eastern coast of Argentina, on the banks of the river Paraná. This beautiful region is accessible by air through the Airport Piragine Governor Niveyro or Nac Routes No. 11 and 12. The city has a total area of 500 km2.
