Iguazu Falls
The Iguazu Falls are situated about 20 kilometers from Puerto Iguazu in the northern region of the province and are shared by Argentina and Brazil. The falls are the most impressive natural attractions in Argentina and the most frequently visited place in Misiones.
La Garganta del Diablo (The Throat of the Devil)
The La Garganta del Diablo is the biggest single falls within the Iguazu Falls. The path to the falls consists of a long stretch of calm waters. The falls have a deceiving look and on a distant view they appear to be small. When one reaches very close to these falls, it is possible to view a cloud of mist and hear the roar of water. The dynamic waters, enormous size and unbelievable views can be realized only by experience. Also hundreds of birds dive into the waters and are surrounded by the falls.
Macuco Trail
The Macuco Trail is a pedestrian trail that has a length of 3 kilometers. It passes through the mysterious and dense jungle and has varying levels of difficulty. If an individual decided to take a walk, he required about 2 hours to complete it. There is a small beach and Arrechea fall at the end of the trail, but it is not possible to swim on this beach. At the start of the trail there is a map that indicates the level of difficulty along the trail which has many stops. It is essential to carry sufficient repellent, a bottle of mineral water and a camera while embarking on the trail.
