Tourist Guide Paraná
The city of Paraná is the capital of the province of Entre Ríos in Argentina. It is located on the eastern shore of the Paraná River.
Paraná has an undulating topography with deep ravines and sandy coasts. The climate of is mild with an average temperature of 23ºC in summers and 10ºC in winters.
Paraná has a population of 240,000. The city traces its origin back to the sixteenth century when some settlers from the neighbouring city of Santa Fe decided to make a settlement on the eastern shore of the Paraná River. This tiny settlement slowly grew into a village; then, it became a town and is now a bustling city.
