Monumento Nacional a la Bandera

The Monumento Nacional a la Bandera or the National Flag Memorial is spread over an area of 10,000 square meters and is a massive complex constructed on the shore of the Parana River. The memorial is made mostly using the stone from the Andes and the architects were Alejandro Bustillo and Angel Guido. It consists of 3 parts – The Tower which is 70 meters high, the Civic Courtyard and the Triumphal Propylaeum.

Parque de la Independencia

The Independence Park or Parque de la Independencia is situated in the geographic center of Rosario and is spread over 1.26 square kilometers. The boundaries of this park are defined by 27 de Febrero Boulevard, Ovidio Lagos Avenue, Pellegrini Avenue and Moreno Street. In this park, one should visit the Children’s Garden, Dr. Julio Marc Provincial Historical Museum, the Juan B. Castagnino Fine Arts Museum, the Jorge Newbery Municipal Stadium, the Museum of the City, the Rosario Jockey Club’s horse track, the French Garden and the Rose Garden.

Parque de Espana

The Park of Spain or Parque de Espana is spread over an area of 10,000 square meters on the coast of Parana River and is an urban complex in Rosario. Here one can find a video library, three art exhibition galleries, a conference room and a 500 seat theater.
