The Castillo de San Cristóbal is a Spanish fort which is situated in San Juan in Puerto Rico. Built by the Spanish to protect against any land related attacks in the city, this historic building is a part of the San Juan National Historic Site. Its construction finished in 1783 and covers an area of 27 acres of land. This is also known as one of the largest fortification built in the New World by the Spanish.
