Tourist Guide San Miguel de Tucuman
San Miguel de Tucumán, commonly known as Tucuman, can be credited for being the biggest city all over northern region of Argentina. It’s also capital of Tucuman.
On 9th of July, 1816, Congress that had gathered in Tucuman went on to declare its independence with respect to Spain; that hadn’t recognized it on the official basis till the year 1862. House of Tucuman, congress’s meeting place, later got reconstructed in the form of one of the national monuments; and it still stands in glory at this place.
Since ages, the above-mentioned city has been figuring amongst the most ‘outstanding’ cultural spots all over Argentina; partially, owing to influence of significant ‘National University of Tucuman’. Mercedes Sosa was born at Tucuman.
The climate here is also quite pleasant. This is evident from the fact that summer temperatures do not go beyond 26 degree Celsius.
